I don't how many of y'all are following this but in Europe there forming this 15 team soccer Super League. If they did this in CFB who would make it and who wouldn't. I'm sure making the league is mostly based on history and clubs that make money. Here's my 15.

Auburn
Alabama
LSU
Florida
Georgia
Clemson
FSU
Ohio State
Michigan
Penn State
Texas
Oklahoma
USC
Notre Dame
Miami (Fl)

Just go from this....

to this.

64 teams....one has to leave and I think that should be rutgers.

this is really 8 eight-team leagues that are somewhat congruent with today's leagues...as long as you don't care about the big12, which no one does, anyway.

That’s just throwing teams in based on their name not their talent. Michigan, Texas, FSU are all average at best. Penn State, Miami, USC are all just average teams that take advantage of weak conferences. None of those 6 teams would be more than middle of the pack SEC teams, so why are they included and others aren’t?

i agree with you.......

Respectable TEAMS listed in each conference below. There's not much you can do because the SEC is so stacked.

S.West: Tex, OU, LSU, Ala
S.East: Uga, UF, AU
PacNorth: ORE
PacSouth: USC
Atl S: Clem
Atl N: ND, VT, WVU
MidE: OSU, Mich, PSU
MidW: Wisc
May have to switch some teams around to make for more fair leagues.
ATM to S.West in exchange for Tex to PacSouth making two worthwhile teams to PacSouth and Three teams to S.West
May have to push one of Mich or OSU to MidW to make more worthwhile teams in MidW.

Nebraska has had 4 losing seasons in a row. What reason is there to believe they will be any better in the future. Not saying we deserve to be in the top-15 at this point, but Nebraska sure as hell doesn't.

People said similiar things about Alabama in the 2000's.

At the end of the day, they are a blue blood and will be back. Not to mention they have large fan bases who travel well and show up to games, in an area where there is little competition. Being in a limited top league would drive resources and recruits to them.

If you just want to rank teams based on their win loss rankings over the past few years, then go ahead. But if you are actually deciding what teams would be good for a top league of college football, they are a team you want to take.

No comparison. Tennessee might be a better comparison, yet theyve been better than Nebraska.

Alabama down still won the SEC. You weren’t posting 4-5 win seasons.

None of these teams will leave their conference.
