An incredible run by Bama. Certainly it’s more impressive than the 14 years in a row that FSU finished in the top 4.

Dude most of this board is still celebrating LSU’s 2019 championship, read the room, chill trying to steal their thunder with all Bama’s accomplishments and 2020-21 win

15 of the last 17 preseason #1's did not win the national championship. Congrats on your ranking though. I will check back in January.

It’s also the sixth time Alabama has started #1 under Coach Saban (2010, 2013, 2016-2018).

Unbelievable.
The next-longest streak belongs to Miami, which reached #1 in the AP poll for 7 straight seasons (1986 to 1992).
With Saban still actively coaching, there is a good possibility that this is one of those records that may never been broken, at least in our lifetimes.

LSU fans get butthurt and call BAMA fans insecure.
LSU fans immediately post about 2019, a season that took place two years ago and was followed by a BAMA national championship, a 5-5 season for LSU, and a 55-17 drumming at the hands of Alabama.
This process plays itself out every time. Why do LSU fans call BAMA fans insecure? How do LSU fans not realize their hypocrisy? I'll hang up and listen.
