The really striking thing is that only two of those games were decided by seven points or less.

Didn't Kiffin try to come up with some bullshite reason that Alabama should have been penalized on that blocked kick? Like he took his helmet off in celebration even though there was like 1 second left on the clock that hadn't yet expired?

That's even worse than Arkansas' record of futility against A&M. Wow

That was actually Gary Danielson.

That's right...even Gary Danielson doesn't always know the rules. Now it would be a live ball foul, but at the time even if the penalty had been called, the play would have stood.

The only real question at this point is whether or not Saban will eventually retire having never lost a game to Tennessee while at Alabama.

The more striking thing is that Butch is responsible for half of those close point loss games.

It’s hard to keep it close when Tenn is averaging 12 points a game, and Alabama scores 40+ the majority of games.

11 of 13 they scored 29+

Because Alabama had recovered the blocked kick as well. All that would have happened is Alabama gets to take a knee.

I know UTk is still a relevant rival solely because of how sickening the thought of almost losing that 2015 game made me. It did not matter that Bama had won 8 straight to that point and would have likely controlled their own destiny to the CFPs either way.

I just really enjoy watching that group lose and really hate them beating Bama at ANYTHING... but, especially football

When LSU won last year, it was more along the lines of "oh well, they were due and have a good team." When Clemson beat Bama the first time, at least I took away that it was a good season and fun game to watch. Even when Clemson kicked Bama's arse, I felt disappointment but was content in that shite happens and Bama kicked their arse the year before.

But, no, not with UTk. They are the absolute worst, and I wish nothing but bad things for their program. I hope they lose so miserably this year that they fire Pruitt, so he can come home and fix this Bama defense

No, there would have been no taking a knee, because the clock was at 0:00. There would have been no additional play; the game would have still been over.

That 2007 game was crazy, all the suspensions announced just before KO. I thought we were fricked. But DJ Hall & JP were lights out that day. One of favorite UT games (Doyle's kick in 90 is still my favorite :)
