Gone are the days where only Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio State can consistently offer recruits to be part of the playoffs. It was a great pitch and without it, the sport will have much more parity.
Instead of the typical first round matchup vs Oklahoma or Notre Dame, the playoff usuals will instead get LSU/Georgia/Auburn etc. and have to win 3 playoff games instead of two.

Now, with NIL, other schools can offer $ like bama too.

You probably really believe this, but it isn't true.
Let's address parity first. Since the 4 team playoff was implemented, a whopping THREE of the 14 semifinal games have been decided by less than 10 points.
You aren't introducing parity, you're just giving more teams the chance to get their teeth kicked in by the teams that really belong.
Now let's address the 'great pitch.'
Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio State have missed the playoffs a combined 5 times. With a 12 team playoff, that number would be 0. Going further, if a 12 team playoff had existed since Saban's arrival at Alabama, after his first season they would have only been at risk of missing the playoffs once (2010).
A 12 team playoff won't let Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State offer recruits a chance to be part of the playoffs, it will let them guarantee recruits they'll be part of the playoffs.
Just remember what you asked for because you're going to hate it when you get it.

Schools like Bama will be able to offer more.

It just means more SEC teams in the playoff, and the bigs will still wipe the field with the rest

All this does is ensure Alabama can get in with 2-3 losses. Alabama will now never miss a playoff.
Told ya there was a reason Alabama was beefing up its future OOC schedule, even 2 Power 5s in one year. They can afford 2 losses now.

Really means any SEC team will have to p[lay two more SEC games each year to win the Championship

They already can guarantee it.
Expanding the pool to 12 does nothing at all to help the current top tier.
If you think Dabo and Saban are sitting in their office cheering this then you’re mistaken.
Now they have to buckle up and play more SEC teams in the playoffs instead of weak arse Oklahoma or Notre Dame.

So since the rest of you can’t consistently compete let’s change it so my team can be relevant.

Alabama beat 11 SEC teams in the season just completed.

SEC was horrific last year compared to the standard.

Not really, will still be those teams that actually win it.

The recruiting disparity will shrink as the wealth is spread to 8 more teams being allowed in.

What happened the last time y'all had to play a top 12 team?
I think LSU kicked your arse iirc

You had a coaching staff full of lazy recruiters. If that’s changed your classes will improve.

In the short term it’s going to be ugly. Sone of these games. but in the long term it will be good

Not getting in the playoff is not why there's a recruiting disparity. Especially now with a watered-down playoff.
It won't be anything special anymore to make a playoff. It'll just be something Cincinnati and Arizona State will be a part of.
