Notes:
The SEC ties with the PAC-12 for most first round picks on the night with six total.
Anthony Edwards had the highest All-Star percentage according to ESPN Analytics' draft model, at 41%.
Tom Crean joins John Calipari as the only college coaches with a top-5 pick in the NBA Draft from 3 different schools in the Common Draft Era.
Kentucky has had multiple 1st round picks in every Draft since John Calipari took over (since 2010 Draft).
Kira Lewis Jr. is the 3rd Alabama player drafted in the first round since 2000, joining Collin Sexton (8th overall in 2018) & Gerald Wallace (25th overall in 2001).
Isaac Okoro is the highest drafted player from Auburn since Chris Morris (4th overall) in 1988.

How has Vandy had so many players drafted this year and last year yet been so horrific on the court? What is the problem there?

Nesmith missed the entirety of SEC play last year IIRC.

That's right. I had forgotten about that.

Yep.

Nesmith’s sophomore season at Vanderbilt was cut short just one game into the Commodores’ SEC slate, after he had surgery on an injured right foot.

Once again Mike White not putting anyone in the NBA. It's insane how bad he is at developing players

Well, we are going to miss Mason Jones and I'm surprised he went undrafted.

But I will say even with Nesmith Vandy lost to Richmond, Tulsa, Liberty, Loyola-Chicago and SMU last year. So not a great look. However, if you followed that Vandy team at all, it was basically Lee, Nesmith and then a bunch of nobodies or very young guys trying to start out their careers like Pippen Jr, Disu or Wright, guys who just werent ready for the limelight of a team being put on their backs after a guy like Nesmith went down especially.
Nesmith was the bondafide star though, when they lost him the entire team just caved in - except for Maxwell Evans against LSU, frick that guy

Besides the injuries, 1st year head coach and Bryce could sign good players but didn't do a ton with them after that point

I was a little surprised to see he was making some projected drafts, he just lacks so much in the athletic department. I think he finds a role in the NBA though. He already has signed with the Rockets I believe.

Dear god how many of our players have to go to New Orleans to die
Its the G-League of the NBA.

Except when they played Alabama.
Disu had 21, Lee 19, and Pippen 10 against them in the first game.
In the second/upset game, Lee had 38(!), Disu 14, and Pippen 13.
I was at that second game, and Saben Lee could not be stopped.

That’s because he runs a “system”. It’s good at this level but it doesn’t really translate to the next level and it’s style of play.

Wow, so Florida doesn't play basketball anymore?

Same with Darius Garland the year before.

I was going to say, the injury bug was quite vicious to Vandy the past couple of years.

Darius Garland and Clevon Brown, in addition to Nesmith.

Any Auboon hoop fans that can give a little summary on Orkoro?? Looks like a good defender but cant score very much and cant shoot . Asking for a Cleveland Cavs fan .

Amazing to think that they have exactly 1 more National Championship than I do during that stretch.

To be fair, only two coaches have more than him and one of them basically gets the same type of talent each year.
