Any chance an 11-1 Kentucky team could sneak into the playoffs?

If Georgia runs the table, that puts Bama out. Kentucky maybe if things fall perfect.

They probably don't, but they should if things fell a certain way.

They’ll be favored in every game left on their schedule. 11-1 would definitely put them in the conversation especially if Georgia wins out.

Kentucky is a really solid football team. But if they go 11-1 after being pushed to the brink by UT-Chat then it is official.

It would need some big breaks.

Cincy needs to lose
B10 needs to beat each other up.
OU with a loss (maybe 2)
UGA beats Bama in SEC CG

No, but the Cats are having a great season and should be proud of their program right now regardless.

Kentucky is screwed if Cincinnati is one of the four.

The out of conference schedule for UK is not going to help. Not sure what the signature win will be for them. LSU at home?

Very true.

Most likely LSU or Florida, it would seem.

Not a great SOS either way in terms of post-season positioning.

We’d need a lot of outside help. I don’t see it happening but think we can firmly get in a NY6 if we win out.

They would have to sneak in because they sure as hell aren't getting invited.

Stoops obviously isn't playing to win. Why should they go to the playoffs? That's for teams that play to win.

You can certainly conjure up a scenario where it happens, but the likelihood of that scenario happening is 0%.

Definitely not a slam dunk, but the Wildcats have been playing above the rim all year, so kudos if they finish 11-1.
