Would be amazing!! Seeing the bama fans cry would be a sight to see

It is a possibility. I just hope Bama can compete with Auburn.

Whoever wins the SEC championship will be the only team to make it to the playoffs.

I think if AU wins the SECCG, then Bama is left out. If UGA redeems themselves with a victory over AU, I could see them putting Alabama in since they didn't get to play UGA and it wouldn't be a rematch scenario.

Don't project your displeasure at Auburn stomping your arse onto us. If we lose, we will accept our fate.

If we lose to AU I fully expect to be left out. No melt

We should have a few more threads on this IMHO.
Almost all Alabama fans have said if we lose to Auburn we have zero expectations of making the playoff.

If we lose, we’re out. It’s that simple. No melting here. Win you fricking games. I say it to people who bitch and want an 8 team playoff all the time. I’m not going to be a hypocrite now. Win your games, control your own destiny. The only team that has a legitimate bitch now is UCF.

You guys will be disappointed if you're expecting a melt if we get left out. If Alabama misses out, it will be the first time they've missed the playoffs ever. It's bound to happen.

I cannot think of a single Alabama fan, personally, who would believe we should be in if we lose to Auburn.
That said, about the only thing we might complain about is how Ohio State got in the previous year in the same scenario (1-loss, non-champ, lost to eventual 2-loss champ). Personally, I wouldn't but I'm sure some would.
I don't expect to win or lose the AU game at this stage. I expect it to be a good game.

Gonna be a crazy weekend. Spread is 2 or 3 right now.
Get to watch this game at Thanksgiving with my Bama fan brother. Last time we got to watch an IB together was the Kick6.

Oklahoma
Miami/Clemson
SECCG Winner
Wisconsin
No particular order
I think they do, in favor of a undefeated Wisconsin. A loss by Wisconsin will make it very interesting.

What if UGA wins the SECCG but loses to Ga Tech? A 2 loss UGA team with losses late in the season. I guess the SECCG will make up for it..

The world isn't ready for that type of chaos

Probably.
I have to say I am kind of enjoying this flip of the script in the media about Alabama after Saturday. It's no longer people trying to anoint Alabama as just having to get past Georgia in the SECCG which has been the narrative for several weeks now. Now it is can Alabama still get in when they lose to Auburn? Now other teams (like Auburn for example) get to try and avoid the rat poison for a couple weeks. At this point I'm kind of hoping Miami jumps Bama for the #1 spot tomorrow and Vegas makes Bama an underdog for the Iron Bowl.

I agree this is most likely. However, strange things can and have happened at the end of the year. Most people forget that two teams had to lose in the final weeks for the Bama/LSU rematch to happen back in 11. Iowa State beating a heavily favored OSU(Okie State that is) was a huge upset that sent us into bcs chaos. We all remember 2007, that sent a 2 loss LSU to the bcscg. Just saying there is a real possibility of a 2 loss Big 10 Champion(let's say tOSU) and then say 2 loss USC ends up winning the PAC12. Does an Iron Bowl loss or sec champ loss really keep Bama out in this case? Probably not. We just have to wait and see it how it plays out. Just like we had to in 2011, and 2007. At the end of the day the real question is, "Does Bama have enough clout with the committee to get the nod over a 2 loss champions like tOSU did last year?" Your guess is as good as mine.

There'd be no melting from me. We'd have nobody to blame but ourselves.
You don't want to get left out? Don't leave yourself on the bubble. It's that simple.

Some 2007 type shite all over again.
Do you put in 12-2 SEC Champ UGA or 11-1 Alabama?

I think if AU subsequently lost to UGA you might have a shot depending on how things went.
Someone raised the scenario of AU winning out and Bama getting in with one loss over Auburn, but even with what I'm sure is a desire to get Bama in over Auburn, I can't see that happening.
