LSU senior receiver Jonathan Giles reportedly enters NCAA transfer portal

It appears the hype surrounding Jonathan Giles’ arrival with the Tigers will be his lasting legacy with Ed Orgeron’s LSU program as the former standout Texas Tech receiver may be on his way out the door in Baton Rouge

We can always depend on aggy to bring breaking (and expected) LSU news to the SECR first.

Losers.

I don't think the responses will be what you are expecting. After all, Giles' muffed punt resulted in a Trayveon Williams' touchdown against A&M.

When a talent like his leaves the conference it is news. It just so happen he’s leaving Lsu.

He had a really rough go at LSU. Just never panned out. Most transfers don’t. If they were that good they wouldn’t have transferred out to begin with.

He took #7, did nothing with it, and got buried on the depth chart. Not only expected but actively encouraged. Wish the best to the guy but it obviously didn’t work at LSU.

This sounds like a pretty big inditement against O. How to you turn a prolific WR into an unproductive benchwarmer.

Everyone around LSU knew this was coming and there's a good reason. Wish him the best, but this is positive news for LSU.

No idea what happened with him, but it was crystal clear he was slow and could never really get open here. The coaching staff believed in him way too much, returning punts he was the worst I've seen us ever have.

Happens when a former 3* is 6th in the conference in receiving.

you transfer from Texas Tech and the Big12 to the SEC. It was clear pretty early on the guy wasn't very talented and was very over-hyped. He wouldn't have seen the field this year regardless, so good luck to him.

He was given more than enough opportunity to play and perform and he couldn't get it done.

O has brought in better players so he was going fall further down the depth chart.

Any other false commentary you want to add, shart?

With better players at that position. Yes I know you’re trolling

Yea he was a 1k yard receiver in the last league that aggy couldnt win? And when they did actually win it 2010 they got pulverized by a Jordan Jefferson led tigers in the cotton bowl. End of thread
