If it was 02-12, I'd say 02 UGA HAS to be on there somewhere. But since 03-12 is the 10 year window they don't make the cut.
07 and 12 UGA are the only ones with a chance. Since you didn't say "best season" and simply said who would win most games head to head, I think that 07 team miiiiight could squeak in towards the bottom somewhere.

I honestly believe they would beat you easily if yall had played in the SEC champ game. Ashame they lost to UT the way they did though.

Biased list. And 04 AU is definitely better than 07 LSU

wouldn't you have to win the conference to be best in the conference?

That would depend on the degree of the arse-whipping that you dish out in a rematch. Obviously, in 2011 - nobody is stupid enough to argue that LSU was a better team than Alabama. In 10 years, nobody outside of the states of Louisiana and Alabama will remember that Alabama didn't win the SEC in 2011.

You can debate the order of the teams, but winning the SEC championship is a good place to start.

This won't be popular with the aubbies, but the 2004 AU team would prison rape the 2010 AU team.
Actually, I think most of us would agree that the 2004 team was better than the 2010 team (though I don't know about "prison rape"). That is what makes the 2004 snub so unforgivable.
Isn't it strange to think that Gene Chizik plays a major part in two of the top ten best SEC teams of the past ten years?

You should have kept him. Shame on you people.

Why not? We can go around in circles all day analyzing each team's schedule, but it's been done to death. If they played early in the season, LSU would win. If they played after October UGA would win, and pretty comfortably IMO. It's not worth wasting half the morning arguing which team was better, but there's no reason to think that UGA isn't on the same level as LSU was.
