It's funny when some UGA fans try and tell me with a straight face that GT is a bigger rival than us.

It's just because a lot of Georgia fans get irritated that your fanbase is torn between hating Georgia or FSU more.
Even though a lot of older fans do really hate Tech worse. I'm 21 so I've seen a lot of whipping Tech and a lot of losing to Florida so naturally I hate the Gators more.

I don't really want to get into it, but I'm at all the Ole Miss fans thinking LSU is their main rival. Maybe back in the day, but from about 1970-present I don't see how the Egg Bowl isn't first on their list.

I dunno man. 9 years ago one of our games decided the west. We've had some pretty competitive games.

That is true, but nothing runs deeper than an in-state rivalry.

I hate Ole Miss. Even though they were terrible for a little bit it doesn't mean the hate ends. It means I get to laugh at them and hate them. Go to Hell Ole Piss.
I also remember how heated it was getting with A&M before the series ended. I guarantee in a couple of years that hate will be back.

Sorry, but in-state rivals > border rivals any day. But as far as hatred goes, we hate the frick out of the Gators. Beating Tech the last few years is just something we do at the end of the season, whereas beating UF is a goddamn circle-it-on-the-calendar mission, and usually the defining point for our season.

Yeah, I hate Ole Miss too. It might be mean-spirited, but it's more fun since they've sucked the last few years.

Gotcha, and while we are on the topic; my hate for Auburn is about to top Ole Miss FWIW. I can't stand that cowfrickers in Alabama.
