good game

we clearly stole it tonight by riding on the arm of plutko and capitalizing on your few mistakes. you guys really are the best team in the tournament and i expect you to beat UNC. nola pitched great tonight.

good game

and before anyone asks. from the mega thread:

Pitching battles are usually won by the team who doesn't make mistakes. Played out to that precise tune tonight.

that was the only way we were going to win tonight. if we could keep it a pitching duel than i thought we were going to win. i was scared after i saw katz crush that ball into the left field bullpen

The UCLA pitcher was on his game.
he pitched exactly as he should. hes a fly ball pitcher and he was able to use the big field to his advantage. multiple times LSU got a hold of the ball that normally wold have been out but since TD ameritrade is so big, it stayed in

I just came here hoping to find out what LSU fans were thinking about Arkansas tonight. TIA.

Nevermind, I found what I was looking for.

I almost feel like it is dirty to intentionally throw all those damn high fastballs knowing that at worst they are deep fly outs. Y'all used the field and our aggressiveness against us and when we needed to make plays we stuck our head up our arse.

Congrats on the win and frick you guys!

Thanks, yall played good. This one was tough b/c of 2 costly errors meant the game for us.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Yep, UCLA earned the win and our D needs to do little better.

UCLA played smart and deserved the win...

You cannot make errors at this stage.

Good post. Now I know how the Bama fans feel about never actually conceiding a loss but claiming you beat yourself. Hope we meet that bush league team again but still in shock we urinated away this season in all likelihood.
