I'm sorry but I grew up a quarter of my life in Myrtle Beach SC and the kids up there even knew who he was when I was little. To not know who was one of the most influential coaches was in football history is just, well... pathetic. Especially when you play the sport. I mean that's the equivalent of being a physicist and not knowing who Einstein was.
It has nothing to with being an "Updyke."
Speaking of "Updykes" has the cast of Swamp People enjoy running out on the field at every game or was that just a rumor that they were. (Serious question)
