Leaving the bases loaded at the bottom of the 3rd will be this game's downfall for us. Why can't we hit in that situation against good competition?

Just got back from the game. That stadium was crowded as hell.

Maybe we can win one of the next two. That was about all I thought was possible anyway. Just avoid the sweep. Those are tough.

The game was over when we left the bases juiced in the 3rd. You can’t miss opportunities like that on the road against top 5 teams.
Hope our bullpen comes to play today. If not I’m good with nuking it and letting the freshman take over the mid relief. If the guys that have been here can’t get it done might as well let the young guys get reps before post season play.

I agree!
What is going on with Diamond? The guy looked like a stud the first week of the season. Now he looks rattled by little stuff and is trying too hard (ie. The Arkansas play last night)

He really chopped his step at the bag which ended slowing him down.
So glad they benched Van Cleve for Harris and inserted Leatherwood into RF. Our batters seem so much more disciplined at the late and ran up Benard’s pitch count. Wish we would stick with this line up and attitude at the plate!

Would we be better off shifting him back to Friday nights? I got to think Hoglund is better than most Saturday pitchers in the SEC.

That's the best I've ever seen him pitch. Totally took the life out of the ballpark in the first inning. Glad to see plenty of Rebs there too.
