Even if we only win another game or 2, he’s gonna be retained just for the recruiting class. Next season is where he lives or dies at this rate

How can no one on the team shoot? I don’t get it.

Kermit noted our lack of rim protection this season and how he thought it would be better and it’s not. He’s definitely right about that. Where is Sy on this. He was supposed to be a shot blocker. He doesn’t really block any shots. And Sammy Hunter never plays. No development out of either much. White is old school effective on offense but he’s just not athletic enough to be intimidating defensively. Buffen gives it his all but at the rim he’s not very explosive on either end. Add all this up with a poor shooting team and you really don’t have a prayer.

Kermit isn't going anywhere.

This is about the point when I come in and say, "I told you so" about Kermit. You can research my threads about his first year not impressing me and everyone roundly trashing me for that opinion. He's accomplished nothing at Ole Miss.

I hope those shooters are kids we recruited from high school. Murrell and the kid coming from Calloway next year. I get that the transfer market is here to stay but we built a roster of non-power 5 players in support roles and for some reason we are shocked that none of them can make an impact in SEC play.

Our game is so late tomorrow, this is gonna disrupt my study schedule/dinner flow from the usual 6pm slugfests.....
