It’s going to be very bad. It might not be worse only because the opposing offenses won’t be in full gear yet

It really depends on how healthy we stay. Our ones are talented but god we have no depth on the D line.

Sounds like we are getting Sam Williams back! That would help so much.

LINK

For those who remember, Greg Eisworth was rated a top 10 safety by this website. Signed with Ole Miss in 2016. I would have never bet he would play longer than Deontay Anderson.

I would feel a heck of a lot better about this season if Greg Eisworth were in the secondary.

In all fairness to Anderson, had things been as you’d sorta hope, he would not have had to be on the field in a key role so soon. He’d probably still be around and better developed but our whole screwed affair ran him and several others off that would have ultimately been very good.

Sam Williams was in the manning center today. We win at least one more game with him on the field.

I read that article and thought to myself "no way that's the same Greg Eisworth"!?

Williams is returning to practice Wednesday after a team off day on Tuesday, per David Johnson.

This is pretty big development considering how many DL we lost from last year.

Anyone hearing anything regarding MoMo in practice? Him and Sam both being back could be huge.

Leonard just got granted immediately eligibility by NCAA. SEC has to grant it next which I don't see why they wouldn't. That helps with depth in the secondary. Still no word on Reese.

re: Official 2020 Ole Miss Football Thread - The Lane Train is Leaving the Station
It’s worth noting how big of a change this team has gone through since Kiffin arrived. I mean if Reese is eligible the secondary would be in the upper half of the SEC comfortably. Probably the best it’s been since 2014 and he hasn’t even coached a game yet.
