We need to fill up the stands Wednesday. The Pavilion could be an intimidating place to play if we ever start really winning.

KenPom has us now as the 39 best team in the country. KenPom also tweeted that Breein Tyree might be the most improved player in the country.

I just checked our index, and we are back to being .50 in overall program history Maybe we can have a winning % by next season.

Really nice way to start the season. 11-2 with multiple quality wins. Just need to keep the momentum going and find some way to knock off a top tier SEC team.

Kudos to Kermit, believing in old relics like defense, fundamentals and possession discipline

I have to hand it to him, he has not changed his coaching style to accommodate the players. To me, that shows he has control of this team and that’s huge for a first year coach.

Andy Katz: Top 36 Power Rankings

quote:

28. Ole Miss (NR): Say hello to the Rebels. Kermit Davis is working wonders in Oxford as Ole Miss beat Vanderbilt and served notice that it is in the race for a bid to stay.

And here’s Auburn in case anyone doesn’t want to read it:

quote:

20. Auburn (21): The Tigers still need a real statement win. It will come. There is too much talent and experience returning from last year's tournament squad

Man I really hope we win. I'm sure this would put us in talks for being ranked

Yeah I think these next two games are free shots to really make a name for ourselves. I don’t think we are deep enough to win these but you never know. If we can somehow steal one we will be set up perfectly.

Home field advantage has to account for something in basketball

The lower level is sold out and only the high level seats are available for the Auburn game. It will probably be close to a sellout tomorrow night.

Interesting note I saw in the media relations post.

We are exactly .500 all time now, I know Kennedy had us above it for a while but we dropped below again after how terrible last season was.

Officially 1,304-1,304 is our all time record

I don’t think the pavilion has ever been a tough envornmemt. This could be a first.

Build It (we did), win (we are) and they will come. Plain and simple.
