The best food you'll eat in the south is if you stop at a country store in the middle of nowhere and it has a kitchen with a 400lb black lady cooking. You know that whatever you order will be damn good and detrimental to your health, whether it a be a grease filled double cheeseburger with the circumference of your plate, or a pile of fried catfish and hushpuppies, or some greasy fried chicken and greens, or good ol fried pork chop and mashed taters with white gravy.
Top it off with some cornbread that you use to sop all the mixture of grease and juice and a glass of sweet tea to wash it down.
