I'm a little disturbed by your "qt" reference as well but bc I really like labs ill throw in my 2 cents
As has been said it depends on the dogs but in my experiences with 2 dogs in the same house (especially males) they may fight like hell for awhile (good luck for the lab) but once they figure out which one is the alpha dog everything is fine
