I have a wolf Puppy. I'm keeping a close eye on her, but she's 6 months tomorrow and so far sweet as can be.

I have a feeling that this OT will actually like Pits but hate lap dogs.

The breeds I could do without are

Poodles (both giant and regular, teacups are OK I guess)

Chow-Chow (frick those furballs, I don't trust that breed one bit)

Cocker Spaniel (mean little bastages they all eventually become)

Boxers (just meh, I've been around a couple that were cool, but mostly they're dumb as rocks and a handful)

St. Bernards (Only dog I've ever been bit by, happened 2x while on the job, both times while I had my back turned and was leaving. Two separate families. Actually OKC is full of bad dog owners, it might just be an OKC thing)

Pugs (fugly, annoying, and worthless)

I want an American Mastiff. I live in a high rise condo though. No way I would get one to keep indoors all the time though. Need a yard.

Plus I doubt a 150lb+ dog is allowed where I live. Probably would eat all the stupid arse yappy ankle biters in the building as well.

I fostered an American mastiff puppy years ago. That thing ate everything including a 6ft model of a FedEx airbus plane that FedEx gave to my father as a gift for designing the runway for it.

Sorry about the model. Doesn't seem surprising though. Those things tend to want to eat everything in sight.

I knew a couple in Mtn View, CA that ran a rescue org for American Mastiffs. Those are biggest dogs I've ever seen and they are awesome! So gentle. I don't know if I could afford to feed one, and I know I couldn't deal with its poop.

A lot of vets would probably list Rottweilers, Chows, and Blue Heelers ahead of a pitbull for aggression. Financially, it's a bulldog, hands down.

This isn't far off. In my career (counting the all of the time I spent working in clinics before vet school) so far I have not had a pitbull try to bite me - and this is having worked with rescue pitbulls in my practice(some of them former fighting/bait dogs).

Any Asian breed of dog, some rotties, chihuahuas, some of the nordic breeds, and several others are worse in terms of biting.

Bulldogs or anything else that's squatty and fat and stupid. Pugs count too. frick pugs. I hate those little shits.

Anything that yaps too. Basically if your dog doesn't look like it could survive on its own, then it sucks.

Poodles are 500 times better than pitts. one of the top five smartest dog breed.

St. Bernards (

Same, I had one try to attack. Most dangerous dog to own. I was trying to play with the fricker and it took a lunge at me. The girl who owned it said he bit one of her friends' face and he had to get stitches
