Couple had third child taken away after second child died and contradicted their story to police about that death.
My first impression was that these were probably intentionally neglectful parents that needed to have their kid taken away, but after reading the story and watching the video, I think they are just clusters (poor, unambitious and low intelligence) but meant no harm. Third kid is probably better off outside that home, but not sure I can say that it's right.

You're probably right, the parents are uneducated, low income, low intelligence, probably not intentionally neglectful, but does that really matter? Two kids are dead. If people do not have the resources mentally, physically, and financially, they just should not have children until they are capable of caring for them properly. Sounds harsh, but it's true.

I can't really disagree, but I think most people who don't have the mental resources to provide some reasonable level of care probably don't have the mental resources to know they don't have the mental resources.

And this is the real problem which doesn't seem to have a satisfactory solution. I can think of one, but I'm sure it violates a person's rights in every way, so ...

The funny thing is, they used to do that not too long ago. I can remember in school reading about cases that were from like the 50's.

Yeah, sometimes I think it wouldn't hurt to re-visit that era regarding certain issues.

Eugenics baby! I'm fully supportive. I've consciously made the decision to end my genetic stream. This bullshite stops with me.

Couldn't tell how many gf's have told me/hinted that I'd be an awesome Dad. F that. I love kiddos, and had a serious thing with one that had 2 kids and they touched my heart.
But kids, that's like full time forever. I'd rather go play chase or shoot nerf guns or get muddy in the creek than sit around and talk politics, church, or listen about Jim Bob Joe's wife's medical issues. I'm good with having frank honest discussions with kids about their questions and being the fun uncle and leaving it that.

Well, that's the best kind of dad, imo.

Those kids should of never been born to begin with. It's time for some god damn forced contraception in this country. I've had it with this BS allowing anybody to procreate.

I have no idea what that behemoth man was saying in that video.
Thankfully they're giving that third child a chance at life, no matter how bleak it may be.
