That one with Micheal Clark Duncan with the dark background saying he's a stroke still scares the shite out of me and I usually get mad and change the channel immediately.

Has anyone paid attention to the fine print for the Western Sky Lending? It's the one with the Indian woman telling you can borrow up to $10,000 today. The fine print says the interest rate is 139.34%. On a $10,000 loan your payments would be $484.00 per month for 84 months.

484.00x84= $40656.00!!!

I've noticed that before. That's insane. You'd be far better off getting a regular payday loan.

The fricking sarah mclachlan commercials that last 10 minutes, show pictures of deformed dogs and cats and say "in the arms of an angel" 10 million times

Change the channel every time i realize that shite is about to start

That and the white-haired-bearded guy who trolls for money for kids in central america all the time ... the ones where the kids are standing in the ditches full of crap and piss. Pisses me off to no end.

My wife calls it the extortion deal. 86% interest or something. No worries unless Paulie Walnuts comes over.

one time i stopped one of those commercials and said to my wife to read the fine print. blew a gasket. apparently they can make those loans because they are Native Americans. unreal.

I swear that 95% of commercials are geared towards making women want to purchase something by making men look childish or stupid.

The only commercial campaign I can think of offhand that portrays men/fathers in a positive light are Subaru commercials (because they want fathers to buy Subarus as safe cars for their daughters).
