Friday couldn't get here any sooner and my Irish meter is about top the scales ... it's 10am and I all I want to do is drink in preparation for St. Paddy's Day

St. Patrick's day could not come at a better time. Work is annoying, and my girlfriend and I are looking at places to move in together.
She is sending me so many emails about it. I need alcohol.

But I might go to the Brass Door for St. Paddy's ... they are closing off the alley next to them, a new bar is opening that night next door as well & apparently their owner, Sheamus who is Irish, is supposed to have been overseas in Ireland booking an Irish band to play for the night.

Yeah I can see how that would just make you want to through your hands into the air and tell her to fricking decide while you go to the bar ... nag nag nag ... but it'll be ok though and this weekend will be awesome. Though it sucks that it falls on a Sunday though

Yea I live 10 min from there and it just gets nasty sometime. Do you work at the deli? I like brass door but Celtic is my go to place since I've only been going there since I was 16....I'm 23 now

Damn...that is an awesome area to work in. Aside from the restaurants/bars. Black Lodge video is great.

Impressive. I've been going there awhile myself but not that long, it's kinda hard to make it out this way from Collierville sometimes. But going since I was 20 and I'm 25 now myself.
I'm really happy they still have Smithwicks on draft because ol' Dan Mcguinness got rid of it so I stopped going ... well there were other reasons too
ETA: looking out my office window I count 7 bars

Busy, but not too cray cray. Getting ready to snack on some grapes while I send out these rejection letters for kids we didn't accept to our magnet program. I just relish the phone calls I'll get when Momma calls to ask why her son that was suspended 20 days this year wasn't accepted.
