Anywhere from 7 inches of snow to 1/2 inch of ice is about to hit. I think its leaning towards the ice side of things in the city.
Needless to say there has been no work done at work today.

If there is one thing a Kentuckian knows about its Ice storms. shite is ridiculous!
Fortunately the house I live in has an automatics generator.

I woke up at 6:30 AM in Springfield, MO to about half an inch of ice covering everything. The worst is still to come.

I grew up in southeast Missouri, but lived in Kentucky as a little kid. We had lots of ice storms, in both states. They suck.
In Columbia, it's been mostly snow, but there's some ice. It's sleeting now. Supposed to keep snowing/sleeting until 4am. I'm in for the day!

I don't know how people live in that kind of weather. I live in TN, and it's too fricking cold here for sure, but nothing like THAT.

Oh, it doesn't last long in Missouri. It'll be back up in the 40s by Sunday and melting off. This has actually been a really mild winter. This is the first real "snow" we've had.
