Never used one myself as I've never had the ball to do it after the stuff I heard it does.

Do spirits come in contact with this board or what?

Do they even sell these things still? I've never even seen one.

Sidenote: Your post are always really "out there" but they promise quite the entertaining read as far as the thread is concerned. I can't wait for this one to fill up.

When I was about 15 me and my friends played around with it.

One of our friends didn't take it seriously. He moved the piece to say we would die in five days at 5pm. We called him out on it and did something else.

Same guy started messing with dry ice and burned his arm with a square piece. When he woke up the next day, the burn was in the shape of a 5.

100% true story.

I used one to communicate to one of my close relatives that had passed on tragically. I'm not usually the type to try stuff like that, but it was a hard time in my life so I was pretty desperate. Sounds corny, but in the end, it helped me to move past those trying times & overcome my depression.

I'm jackin with you, those things are ridiculous.

A friend of mine used the Ouija board to ask the spirits if the Ouija board actually communicated with the spirits.

The board said....

NO

A few of my friends and I played with one in college...

I wasn't moving it, my friends swear they weren't and we seemed to have quite a long discussion with some entity. I wouldn't put it past my friends to have just been fricking around and moving it, BUT I did ask it what I had made on my Calculus test and I hadn't told anyone else and it guessed 96 which was what I made... So that was pretty creepy.

I hate to be "that guy" but Ouija boards are bullshite.

Movements of the planchette (even if all participants are sincere) are the result of ideomotor effect.

"simply try it blindfolded for some time, having an innocent bystander take notes on what letters are selected. Usually, the result will be unintelligible nonsense."
