Well, yeah, it matters. If I'm over 15 and I see a dude with "Pedophile" tattooed on his forehead, then I know I'm safe. If he has "Rapist OR Pedophile", then I'm still nervous for my b-hole.

Unless it's my neighbor, because then my house will be worth about a nickel.
I agree with the guy who said "for violent offense only" but those guys are primarily in jail so all you are left with is a guy who is probably not a threat who when he was 19 texted a picture of his junk to his 17 year old gf but unfortunately her dad looked on her phone and plays golf with the DA.

There is a difference between sex offender and sexual predator.

fricking this, and I don't think that most people realize that. Depending on the state, a 17 year old can be classified as a sex offender for having sex with his 16 year old girlfriend.
The system is seriously fricked up.
