I assume everyone made it thru the night okay.
Now, let's hope day two is less severe.

Has anyone seen volunteer info for that area? Im in dallas so not too far away and would rather help up there during my three day weekend coming up than get drunk by the pool.

News is saying they need more equipment and money than people. apparently there's a lot already up there.

The thread below provides information on how to donate or volunteer. Also, there is a stickied thread on TD's O-T Lounge with more information.

Tornado watch is fixing to be issued for East Arkansas, Western TN, and North MS. Keep your guard up guys. While they have been saying for 24 hours yesterday would worse than today I think some things may have changed.

SUMMARY...TSTMS HAVE RAPIDLY INCREASED IN INTENSITY ACROSS ERN AR AND NRN MS. THE ENVIRONMENT IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY FAVORABle DMGG WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND PERHAPS A FEW TORNADOES. A WW WILL LIKELY BE COORDINATED SOON WITH LOCAL FORECAST OFFICES.
DISCUSSION...NRN SEGMENT OF MCS MOVING ACROSS AR HAS FRAGMENTED ACROSS CNTRL AR...AND IS PROGRESSING NEARLY DUE EWD ACROSS ERN AR.
ADDITIONAL MORE DISCRETE STORMS HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS NRN MS. VWP DATA FROM NQA SHOWS FAVORABLY BACKED SFC WINDS WITH VEERING IN THE 0-1 KM LAYER...RESULTING IN 0-1 SRH NEAR 150 M^2 S^-2.
ADDITIONALLY...BREAKS IN CLOUDINESS HAVE RESULTED IN TEMPERATURESHEATING UP INTO THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S F...RESULTING IN AN INCREASINGLY UNSTABLE ENVIRONMENT. THIS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR LARGE HAIL AND DMGG WINDS...AS WELL AS TORNADOES ESPECIALLY WITH DISCRETE STORMS. A WW WILL BE COORDINATED SOON.

HAARP did it.
Probably! Heating and super charging the atmosphere isn't super wise in my opinion.
But it makes for one hell of a weapon and we are the test subjects.
