Got nasty at my work. South Huntsville took a decent hit. Nobody hurt all that counts.

Well I'm in Minnesota and we have fricking 5 inches of snow. It's literally snowing, raining, thundering and lightening at the same time.
I hate it here.
Hope everyone is safe down there in God's country.

Prayers for you man. If it was snowing in April, I'd be an angry angry person.

I'll be back soon enough. Thank ya sir. Watching the weather intently down there. After going through an F4 in Murfreesboro TN (I went to MTSU) I'm scared shitless of tornadoes.

No there isn't. These kind of storms happen in the south every year in the spring. It is just the time of year when the warm gulf air moves in and collides with the northern cold fronts still coming through.
This outbreak is baby shite compared to some of the past. April 2011 was the worst I'd ever seen

Growing up in Alabama ive seen the worst. 1999, early 2000's had some bad tornadoes but April 2011 was the worst. It changed the way I look at storms from now on.

There have been at least a couple of outbreaks that rival April 2011, but it is probably the worst considering the loss of life despite how far we've come with warnings.

1974
I remember 1974. I was 6. We were under the bed, my father was laying on top of us and I knew he was scared. When you're 6 and your daddy is scared, you're terrified.
