Honestly, I have never seen students in jorts unless it was a joke, at the UG game wearing UG gear or at Halloween.
Our Greek system is about 7,500 strong too.
I'm not even sure what the OT definition of NF is but we have F and NF and AZNs too.
Very diverse crowd much like most good/great Universities.

Personally I like the group I have now even though IMO the only one you could argue about is UF and even then I think they would find enough ammo to prove their worth.
To me the only thing in question is should more be added(I guess possibly taken away) and IMO the group to look at for additions would be:
Kentucky
Louisiana State
Tennessee

Offseason =/= excuse for making terrible threads. Just an excuse for making trivial threads.

Congrats?

So how many of those schools have you actually visited?
All but Kentucky
Therein lies the rub. National media portrays the state as mountain people when they only make up 10 - 20 percent of the population. Most of the states population lies in the "golden triangle" of Louisville - Lexington - Cincinnati with Lexington being old south and Louisville and Cincinnati not so much. Central KY is the Bluegrass region and very unlike the rest of the state.
It prospered as an agricultural center due to crops in the area :
Hemp for the age of sail
Tobacco for smoking
Horses for calvary and racing
Bourbon for drinking
Coal for energy
It was called the "Athens of the west" and Transylvania University was on par with Harvard and had one of the best medical schools in the country. Though Transy was started as a private school it was split in two to form UK- and both suffered academic reputation from it. It has the oldest continuous gentlemen's club in operation west of the Allegheny Mountains and was originally part of Virginia. Most of the oldest families in Central KY are offshoots of old Virginia families and the area was very pastoral unlike the foothills that cover much of the rest of the state.
Because of their southern heritage is why UK is an SEC school and not a B1G one. Think of UK and Central KY as an island unlike the rest of the state. If you have never been I suggest racing in April and October as the best season and when the Dogwoods are in bloom it is quite lovely.

You haven't spent much time around State lately then cause it's fraty as fuggggg. We play sandstorm at football games, instead of a country boy will survive (which would get me a lot more amped up to root on dem dawgs fwiw)..

I almost went for a visit because I was thinking of LAW school for awhile and they had a good program that I thought I could get into ... then I decided against LAW school in general, did grad school instead.

Ag school ... y'all can be all those things but at the end of the day y'all are still this and why I separated y'all from the heard.
Like I said earlier in the post its more about a state of mind, way of thinking, mentality that the actual representation of it through being fratty and other things.
I mean the SEC as whole is fratty.

Definitely a sport which SEC teams sport this ... Doesn't Bama have a rowing team.

I'm game. This thread is correct. No AU, no UT, and no Ms State. Sounds fitting for the SEC Country Club.
