Going to play it for the first time this weekend. I've heard good things but wanted to see what others thought.

Pretty good course but can be tough as hell when real windy. play proper tees and pretty fun course though.

I've played Kiva Dunes once. Was having a real good round when a thunderstorm came in and cut it short. Which sucks because, a) it's a nicely done course and fun to play, and b) I was having an amazingly decent round for me.

Nice course when I played it a few years ago. Can be very windy.

Yes. It can still play pretty difficult, but it doesn't have all of the hidden trouble that you have at Lost Ball.

The correct answer is that every place is more fair than Lost Ball... er... Lost Key.

We should get together and play a round at RTJ or Timber Creek one weekend.

I rarely finish a round and say "That shite was unfair," but I did that day. Just horrible. Hit the ball great but balls would just disappear.

Would rather play a goat track muni course with an ugly cart girl and gravel in the bunkers than play that course again.

100%. I have to play that course once/year when my wife extended family comes to the beach. such a frustrating course. If your driver isn't dead on target, you better not even pull it out.

It's been a few years since I played it, but as others have said it really depends on the wind. I played there once when there was very little wind and I shot in the 80's. Played there again when it was really windy and ran out of balls on the 16th or 17th hole and was at 110. I also wasn't hitting it very well that day and was extremely hungover, but everyone was struggling. Really nice facilities though.

It is more fair than Lost Key. I had heard stories about Lost Key so I didn't even hit my driver all day. Just hit irons off every tee. Shot low 90's if I recall correctly, and got out of there only losing a couple of balls.

I still like Peninsula best in that area.
