Can anyone remember a time during spring where we had snow?

my parents always said that when you couldn't tell the seasons apart, it was the sign of end times.

March snows aren't THAT unusual in the South with March 12-13, 1993 being the most extreme example. It has even snowed (and stuck in early April). The April 2-3, 1987 snowstorm was the latest on record for much of the Deep South.

Pretty wild storm:

April 2-3, 1987 Deep South snowstorm

I was in 6th grade at the time. Good memories.

Was the 93' snow storm in march? Damn, my memory is fuzzy, was thinking it was in January. I do remember it snowing here in April a few years later.

Didn't it snow in March like 3 or four years ago in Alabama? Then it was followed by a tornado the very next day?
