Idk how long the military thing will last, though, tbh. Had a LONG talk with Mrs. Tbird tonight about precisely that. We'll see how it turns out.

On another note, I love how APD turns on their lights and sirens just go run through a traffic light.

Yeah, that's true. Some very naive mindsets around here. And that's not necessarily a putdown--life just hasn't gotten around to dealing out the hard knocks to 'em yet.

I've been out since '04 but a lot of my closest friends are still in.
Including two that are being screwed over right now.
One who has been enlisted for fifteen years but barred from reenlisting because of cutbacks... four years short of retirement. Oh and he's been in for fifteen years.
Another still in, and after being a drill sergeant and after five tours overseas and fifteen years or service, logs on one day and tries to get additional educational assistance one year shy of a degree only to find out that it's no longer available.
Yes, I'm angry.

Tomorrow's pizza night. Been killing myself all week and basketball game tonight just left me spent. Not trying to be dramatic but I always leave it all out on the floor. Damn straight Imma chow down on some greasy goodness on the morrow!
