Yeah, thanks. Like I said, that thread actually affected me. I was not expecting the responses I got.
I had the discussion with the woman. She has a spoiled Yorkie she adores. But thank god she's not crazy. Honestly as much as I love her it would be really difficult for me to see past that.
Then after we fleshed it out IRL, I drove home and was thinking of what I would post the whole way.
Good God. This is not normal for me. I actually let it get to me.

Well, the problem with the other OT is that so many of them know each other IRL. They mostly live in LA... Mostly BR or NOLA. They know entirely too much about each other.
Some of us know others IRL, but even in those cases it's mostly in a limited capacity, so it's not nearly as bad.

This board is pretty open, as evidenced by the sheer number of us on Twitter that have friended each other. I don't think many fatties would show up.

I think the biggest problem with the other OT is everyone has something to prove. It's OT Baller Syndrome. And it's not about money. It's about who has the most OT-ness.

This OT is far more laid back. Yeah, some of us might judge a little, but it's not going to completely take over a thread.

I usually only come on this site to blow off steam anyway. It's hilarious to me how some people take this (and any other internet forum) as deadly serious as real life. Boggles my mind
