Watch out for the municipalities, they usually pay about half of what the investor utilities pay.

basketball is to LA what football is to the state of texas. its something that you just grow up with and you have to like it haha
Haha yeah I got lucky in that San Antonio is a bit of a hoops oasis in the middle of the state. Yeah, Dallas and Houston have a hoops presence, but nowhere near as live as the Alamo City. You support the Spurs and try to ball like their stars or GTFO

i go at 10:45. perfect time because theres always enough people for a game but its not too crowded
That was primetime for me. Damn I still talk to my buddy about running those courts at night and shutting the Rec down. Good times.

They'll never see it coming--I'm a 5'11" 235 lb swingman with a nasty streaky shot who loves to bang in the post

I prefer the term "vertically challenged"
Yeah, I'm short
And yeah, genro, San Antonio's home--as much as a military brat can claim any town. My dad was stationed there 3 different times so we kept going back. Folks live in College Station now, though (where my dad's originally from).

I'm 5'7. I'm taller than most of my family. My brother is like 6'2. Everyone else is around my height or shorter.
My boyfriend is somewhere between 6'1 and 6'2 though.

I like that once you're in the Rec, though, you're in. Not a whole lot of hassle.

What branch was your dad?
San Antonio is awesome. The only Tejas city that I wont talk shite about. Spent some amazing time there at FSH.

it works!
Make people respect your shot, then hit 'em inside and go to town. Or shock 'em inside first, then have a field day shooting over them. Simple concept, but if you can execute well, you're a nightmare to guard.
And God help you if I start dropping dimes

Can't say I knew anyone who went there. Lived down the street from Judson so that's where most of my peeps went. Also had a few random friends go to Alamo Heights and O'Connor.

I would give up a lot of things to be 6'+. I might have been something at that height.

Damn. I thought just maybe you'd know my bro.
My Dad was AF btw.

Fort Sam is the shiz Probably because my childhood was so transient, but I'm attached to that town. The giddiest you'll ever see me on a road trip is the last stretch of either I-35 or I-10 heading into SA. Feel like a kid all over again and it's almost embarrassing, according to my wife
I spent many a night getting drunk behing the Hacienda on Fort Sam. Had some amazing times on the Riverwalk too.
Nothing will ever beat Ft. Campbell for me. Air Assault!

If your dad was AF and in SA within the last couple decades, the chance is HIGH that our fathers either knew each other or at least crossed paths. I still have people come up to me and ask if I'm related to him because we share the same name and I look very much like him.
