No one is walking around this time of night in this neighborhood.
This is insane though. I'm watching from my balcony. No lights, no sirens. Just APD, GTPD, and neighborhood security driving around and in and out of parking garages. Someone or some business got robbed.

It sounds and looks pretty nasty down this way. We lost power for a couple minutes..didn't hear any transformers blow though.

Meh. There's more violent crime around Tech than State. Most of the crimes around State are just snatch and runs. There's an armed robbery around Techs campus once a week.
The train ride downtown is definitely interesting. A lot of mentally disturbed people.
I live between Buckhead and Downtown, but in one of the nicest neighborhoods. This is not normal.

I'm sure it is. Probably a robbery, and on Sunday night the police don't have a lot to do so they dispatch everyone to look into it.
