Thats how it started with me. The only times we would talk would be her initiating it. I was with her for 2 years and she was my best friend as well. It was really hard to move on and as much as I hate her, I still think about her but I knew I had to get her out of my life to move on. Our breakup wasn't exactly the most civil one.

It was at first but once we started talking the awkwardness went away. I will say that he knew before today that I was seeing someone else and when he first found out he wasn't real happy about it. I tried to avoid talking about that at all tonight unless he asked out of respect for him.

Not at all. His Mom has been on his arse about it (she's asked me a couple times if he had given it to me yet) and it was a gift card to a female clothing store so he couldn't exactly just spend it himself.

I was like this too. Like I said earlier, it was moreso the timing than anything else, that she moved on so quick. But recently (the past 2 or 3 weeks I've been MUCH better about everything) I've just said to myself, "who cares? so what? How does this affect your life in any way at all?" and honestly..it doesn't. What she does now or who she does it with shouldn't have any bearing on how happy my life is. And the bottom line is we weren't meant to be together anyway, so it's like a double who cares.

Me too. I usually end up being pretty civil with exes unless it's just a bad breakup that makes me not ever want to speak to them again (i.e. finding out they're cheating). He was my best friend maybe moreso at times then my boyfriend in those 5 years so I'd hate to not have some kind of contact with him still. And we have some mutual friends that I feel like now we can both hang out with again at the same time which is good.

And it's absolutely understandable. I didn't blame him at all for being upset, because I would've been in that position too. It's why I tried my best not to bring it up around him or anything like that. But he also understands that we hadn't really been "together" for awhile and that sometimes you just meet people you click with even if you don't intend on getting into anything with anyone at that point in your life.

This gm has driven me to the IM gm. ONOZ!!!!!

I'll probably be turning on the box in a little while. Got an itch to play something.

Anybody still run BF3 or BO2?

I've been like this all day with my PS3. I need to finish Assassin's Creed 3. Or I might throw in some Red Dead.

And we play Ole Miss in the SEC BB Tournament. It may be a rocky Tuesday for me and Dr. Jones.
