And so she obviously wants you back. Don't fall for it unless your thoughts on a future have changed. This is predictable. You don't go to a bed and breakfast at the beach with a "friend" who's also an ex unless there are some "benefits" to go along with it.

I have. I like their holiday spice one, too.
I prefer Strongbow, but my closest liquor store doesn't carry it.

I feel like an a-hole, but I think I took this harder than I did when I lost my dad as a teenager. I was really bad off for a week or two.

I would LOVE to go out and get some strange but I don't have any single friends here. All the guy friends I have are taken, so that kinda limits my going out options.

Sadly, no. I asked. I specifically asked if we could have sex and she said no. I know her really well..basically she wants the enjoyment of the beach trip and the fun and the vacation but without the "relationshipy" type stuff. Which is for the best honestly, we're broken up..there's no reason we should do that in the first place.

Strongbow is awesome, especially when you can get it on draft. Woodpecker Cider is great, if you can get it too, but it's British and a lot of places don't carry it.
WG, don't feel like an a-hole. Everyone deals with grief in different ways. I took my brother's death harder than I did my dad's. Grief is weird. No two people handle it the same way, and no way is wrong.
If your buddies are taken - they can play wingman for you! Limits your competition! Have a guys night, with the purpose being to help you find Ms. Right Now!
I hope you told her you would not be going on any vacations with her. You get to a romantic place, beach, moonlight, sand in your toes - it'll take you back to a place you've moved on from. I speak from experience - recycling generally doesn't work out in a good way.

Been drinking since about three. Last day of vaca is tomorrow. Have to head back to the A on Sunday.
It's been an interesting day. Got caught by the forest rangers taking the Jeep into places that it's not supposed to be. Had some 'inferno wings' at the Hurricane Oyster Bar and Grill that were more like medium but their Hurricanes are top notch. Walked along the beach with some vodka's and got stung by a random Jelly.
Going to the Red Bar in a few.

It's new to me! I live in TN; the beer selection is not what it is in GA. The "good" liquor/wine/beer stores here are shite compared to what they are down there. However, I'm going down next weekend and am making a stop at Total Wine on my way. So I should be good for a while.
