yea it was hard though. her telling me she felt like she did since i was 15 just made me feel so bad. cause it made me think of everything we did together and how i had to put her through everything. i really do feel like an a-hole

Don't feel like an a-hole. If anything it sounds like you were just the opposite. Sometimes we just don't get the hint quite as easy as you'd think. And it's not your fault because she just now is telling you how she really feels.

Be careful here. She may have some problems with this for a while. And she probably won't be able to be the same friend to you that she was before. You now know how she really feels. Doubt she'll be your wingman anymore.
