I have a friend from high school whose tech job took him to San Jose. Eventually he ended up in San Diego but he absolutely loves it.
You can always drive down to Coachella to see The Black Keys. I'm sure they'll be there.

Very true. Also I hear that San Fran has a great Music scene. Not to mention the 49ers, the GS Warriors, and the Giants games I could attend while there.
