I just can't help it. If you don't like Holy Grail, I'm not sure we can be friends.

serious question," how do you talk to them long enough to find that out?"

It's only a flesh wound.

I watched Holy Grail with an ex once and she said after that it was the stupidest movie she'd ever seen. She became an ex pretty quick after that.

We demand a shrubbery.

Holy Grail, Life of Brian, and Meaning of Life are fantastic.
There's also really bad Monty Python, it's unwatchable.

What impressed me the most about The Holy Grail is that the 10th time you watch it, you'll still be finding subtle jokes or humor you missed. Like why Sir Bevedere is always holding his helmet visor up (the metal bars are directly over his eyes) or the Sun on King Arthur's tunic having a mustache and being cross eyed.

Agree and also have my doubts about people who don't think MST3K is funny.

"Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?"
The 'witch' scene identifies the source of the coconuts.

Did she..."run away"?

Yeah, it was about the fifth or sixth viewing that I finally "got" the ending. It's a "cop out"

As you should. I crack up every time I've ever watched Holy Grail.

The scene with the peasants talking about the "autonomous collective" is my favorite part.
All the while they are just stacking piles of shite together.
"Come and see the violence inherit in the system, come and see the violence inherit in the system!!!"

I don't think that most people realize that the witch is Connie Booth from Fawlty Towers.
She was married to Cleese for a while. They fought like cats and dogs on the Fawlty Towers set. That is basically why there are so few episodes.

Well I know I can't be friends with someone who thinks Monty Python IS funny. It's completely stupid.
