I'm nothing next to the Hip Hop Historian 
I listen to pretty much everything, metalcore or anything heavier is about the only thing I don't regularly listen to(I'll listen to Killswitch Engage every once and awhile).
I was listening to a lot of De La Soul a few weeks ago, up to their features with Gorillaz.

Hopefully listening to De La Soul included "3 Feet High and Rising"
The 1st progressive hip hop album WAY ahead of its time and easily one of the top 5 Hip Hop albums of all time
I'm still hoping for a collab album with Gorillaz and De La Soul and let Prince Paul produce it
I would lose my shite if that album ever was announced

Question for the board, so I am already going to see some concerts in Denver over August 30 - September 1 and need to ask off Friday but that is the only day I need to ask off as I am flying back on Labor Day (Sept 2). Tomorrow I am buying a ticket for a music festival which is Thursday Sept 5 - Sunday Sept 8.
How do I go about getting that much time off? Should I ask for vacation time (which we don't really have a set amount of or anything) for the festival and just plan on calling in sick the Friday before? I will have been working for this company for 10 months at this point. And I am not going to even ask for an afternoon off until then.

Luckily it's been a beautiful day. Popped my tailgate down. Turned on some Garth double live CD and worked. Very relaxing.
