Nah. Thank goodness. Cops were real cool in Nashville.

I've never seen so many bachelorette parties in one town. No lie I had to have see 20 of then.

Yeah. But damn. They were everywhere.

I gotta come back to Chattanooga next weekend for the wedding. Wish I could've stayed through the week but I got too much work. So back to Starkville tomorrow. Then back here Thursday night.

Every SO I've ever had has been informed that my wedding cannot occur during football or basketball season.

I pissed a friend off here in Louisville who had her wedding during the Kentucky vs. Louisville game. Told her she should've have better sense then that. I apparently wasn't the only one that just showed for the reception.

Told my best friend from high school when he told me his wedding was January 5th that if Bama made the championship I wouldn't be attending. He understood. Felt bad but I think I enjoyed Miami more.

We had to go to a wedding that was during a Bama/Arky game a few years ago and it started during the ceremony so as soon as everyone was heading for the reception all the guys were packed in the bar area watching the game on the TV. The bride had the TV turned off but the mother of the bride had it turned back on told her daughter, "you wanted a fall wedding so youre going to have to deal with that."

A couple from high school got engaged. The bride wanted a fall wedding badly. She was a big Vols fan and he was a huge Bama fan.

Somehow last year Bama and Tennessee both had a bye week on first weekend or second of October. It worked out perfect for them.

I really don't understand why some women expect anyone besides their parents, new husband, and closest friends to care more about them than a football game.

That's why mine was in the middle of summer. Late June.

Was the best man at a wedding yesterday. Bride and groom weren't offended by half the guests spazzing out over the Spurs game--they're both from San Antonio.

It's funny, I for the longest time had the stance that I didn't ever want to get married or have kids. Both of those have changed in the last year or so (and it's part of the reason me and the ex broke up). That all said, I would still be perfectly content just eloping and then having a big arse reception party for friends/family.

My Mother would probably kill me before I'd make it to the reception though.
