Remind me to never play with you.
And ya I lost a some good money at first, but you learn quickly or else you go broke. I also learned how to actually have a poker face.

If you play tournaments conservative play is only acceptable to make a table image in the early stages. From there you can open up middle play by playing suited / connectors in mid position and general trash in late position to pick up cheap flops.
Bubble play is always my favorite. Way to easy to pick up blinds and extra chips for late game play.
I'm not that big of a live player but if I lived closer to a casino I'd be there playing tournaments.
I hate that it's "illegal" to play online.

agree and that is exactly my strategy is using it to set people up for later. along with alot of laughing and shite talk to people to work on getting in their heads and throwing off their game.

I dont even try to have a poker face but because im almost always smiling its hard to tell what the frick im doing.

Ya, but when you are looking down at the best hand with a big pot it is hard to keep your heart rate down and your face calm. Especially when you are a 22 year old kid looking across the table at some 50 year old man who looks like he has lived his entire life in a smoke filled poker room.

well yea but thats why i had the same look on every hand, but instead of a stonewall look it was more of a im busy smiling and laughing. I realized early i couldn't change my facial expression to stonewall no matter how hard i try. so everyone assumes im crazy because im laughing and smiling all the time. I also like to get up and walk around while the other play makes their decision.

Ya i don't think you would be accepted in a lot of casino rooms.

i think the just getting out of my seat and standing by the table would be the least of the issues they had with my table manners.

Plus you won't be able to fix the deck in your favor so you might not do as well.

i didn't need that to win since i won online without that help but if i can get an edge im take an edge. im like a taller version of nick saban, i do whatever possible to win. if its rustling jimmies that needs to be done then ill rustle jimmies to win.

Saint Nick stacks the deck with his magical recruiting skills. Don't hate on him.

You can still play online from the US. I play almost everyday.

Yeah but you can't play on poker stars. I used to do their $4.20 180 player tournaments and play 4-5 at a time every day. I was able to consistently cash. On weekends I'd play a couple $22 or a $55 MTT for fun. Oddly those $4 tournaments were usually very entertaining. Always find people who'd act like they are playing in the wsop or something.
Oh and I recently found this. LINK
Nevada residents only but its a start.

No, you can't play the big sites.
But there are a dozen smaller sites you can play with impunity.
I cashed a large amount out the other day with no problem.
Granted, they don't have as many Sit & Go tournaments as PokerStars, but I only play HU anyway, so that's not all that important to me.
