I'm alright not working today luckily.

Back to the field to work today.
We planted my putting green yesterday. Now we are working on some controlled putting green trials in growth chambers.
Also, I shot my best round of golf yesterday. 77 (+6). First time I broke 80. And I beat my previous record of 84. It was amazing. Shot 37 on the back 9.

Those rounds are double edged swords. Next weekend you'll go out and shoot an 86 and be pissed at yourself the whole time because you know you are capable of playing so much better.

Oh for sure. Ive accepted today will probably yield a 90.
I play almost everyday after work and I've gone from barely breaking 100 in January (and even then not really playing by the rules strictly) to consistently being in the mid-high 80's.
I played very well yesterday obviously. I just scrambled like I knew I was capable. I would miss greens but get up and down for par. Which I can do, I just can never do it on every hole.
I did have a nice chip in for birdie on 2 that the two guys on the 3rd tee box saw.

back when I played a good bit about twice a week I was hitting 70 -75 ish it took a ehile for me yo get that low though
if I went today it'd probably be in the mid 80 range
