For me it's The Odyssey. I've read it probably 5 or 6 times from start to finish.

After that it's probably Moby Dick.

It's the books I took my handle from.

Run With the Horsemen by Ferrol Sams. It's about a boy growing up in rural GA during the Depression and playing pranks on his family. Awesone read if you're interested Southern culture and relatiinships.

Great book. I just read it for the second time a few weeks ago.

1984 by George Orwell is the best book I've ever read.

I could probably go for days on this subject.

The A Song of Ice and Fire series is up there with Storm of Swords being my favorite.

Some others are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald, She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb, Different Seasons (actually four novellas in one) by Stephen King.

I hope the movie delivers. The novel is awesome.. so far the movie trailers all look like Heineken commercials.

I read that not too long ago. Really good. I plan to read In the Garden of Beasts once I clear some stuff off of my Nook.

I'm just convinced at this point that it's one of those books that just isn't meant to be adapted into a movie. I'm not real crazy about what I've seen of the previews of the movie either.

Also good. There's just something about Chicago I'm fascinated with

ETA: Larson is my favorite writer that's currently alive

I'm jelly. I wish I could erase my memory of it and read it through without knowing what comes next again. It gets better as it goes on. Have fun.

THIS.

Leo is the best choice IMO for the character, but we will see if diologue is followed and not replaced with cinematography like it usually is..

I wouldn't write off any movie with Leonardo DiCaprio... except for Titanic and Who Ate Gilbert Grape. One of the most underrated actors ever.
