Feels good exercising my 2nd amendment right. Got a Springfield XD 9mm. Using for home defense primarily.

Congrats. I have a Ruger 9mm, a 22(for the wife), and my personal fave is my .357. If someone breaks in my house or if the zombie apocalypse happens I'm prepared.

Congrats. Enjoy and be safe. Its when people get complacent around firearms that accidents happen so always be safe.

Well done. I was looking at the Springfield, but wound up settling on the Glock 19 because of the Rough Texture. Makes it easier to control in the 115 degree desert when I'm out plinking.

My friend has the Springfield, loves it.

Congrats. I find it funny that the first gun registered to me is an AR-15.

Good call, that usually works out well.

we like the Springfield because of the dual safety, will be handy when we have kids if God forbid they ever get their hands on it. Surprised my wife could shoot the 9mm, figured we'd have to go to a smaller calibur but she handled it like a boss.

Lots of ladies can handle a 9mm. It's a good family gun for everyone to play with.

Grats. Make sure everyone always assumes it loaded, be safe and enjoy. Shouldn't take long to get the next one you "need".

larger than a .22 but smaller than a .38

.38 special has a .357 bullet diameter

9mm has a .355 bullet diameter.

9mm is great caliber none the less, and you made a good choice no doubt
