Oh, my laptop can go from Tupac to Hootie to Jewel to Metallica in one song.

I like the old Metallica and the fact that the last album went back to the old stuff.

Night lurkr.
I'll also add that you shouldn't slice up garlic and leave it in your fridge, even if you seal that shite. It will make you entire kitchen and immediate living area smell like something straight out of Dracula's worst nightmare.

I walked outside at my job and a 19 year old asked me if I had ever heard of Bob Seger. I had to frick with him a little and ask who the hell he was talking about. He kept saying it was this old rock guy and I just shook my head and walked off.
ETA- and I don't know about performance, but in the best rock vocalist category I would have to give a nod to Bob Seger. I don't know... "The Best" is a definitive title to give any one person. Lots to consider.

I can tell the difference between Bon Scott and Johnson. Scott had so much more swagger to him. Johnson tends to just scream the words more.
But I agree with Freddie. Unmatched talent in rock.
I would put the Foo Fighters up with the old rock bands. Different style, but they are just as good.

I watched a really good bio on them the other day and it detailed when they played Wembley. Looked frickin awesome.

Freddie Mercury. And Queen.
Freddie really was an amazing talent. I grew up listening to them with my dad being a huge fan. Three songs of theirs that never leave my workout playlist are Another One Bites the Dust, Fat Bottomed Girls, and We Will Rock You

Freddie was one of the greatest.
However, Maynard James Keenan from Tool may end up being the best. IMO, he is the best vocalist/performer.
Cat, i hope you're joking about being drunk and taking sleeping pills.
Alcohol and sleeping pills = Heath Ledger
