Pacers have always been my favorite Eastern Conference team. My favorite players growing up were David Robinson and Reggie Miller. It was always my dream that they would meet up in the Finals (almost happened in 1999, but the Knicks came out of nowhere as an 8 seed to win the conference).

Add in the fact that one of my all time favorite Spurs, George Hill (an Indiana native) is now a Pacer and I'd LOVE to see Indy in the Finals just so he could get a warm reception from Spurs fans who still love him. Plus, Roy Hibbert is an understudy of Tim Duncan in the offseason, so there's quite a few Spurs/Pacers ties beyond even the fact that they are both former ABA franchises. Would love for them to beat the Heat to make the Finals, but we'll see what happens.

Nothing wrong with some :rivalry: smack, especially in the dadgum Finals

I generally stayed away from SSR this postseason, though, mainly because y'all were injury plagued and it didn't seem right to rub it in, because I like most of the SSR posters.

The same could not be said for my behavior on SpursTalk dealing with the trolls from LakersGround, however, I regretfully report

the meltdown we had after the GS game which kobe tore his ACL was something id never seen before...and this is considering me lurking texags the night of the tu game

It has to be a close gm 5 for the Pacers to win, they can't get blown to smithereens in Miami they have taken every punch on the chin and bounced back. I think it's hilarious that everyone was praising Spoelstra for his "genius idea" in gm 3 to park him in the paint (the dudes 6'9 260, that's his natural position ) and so in gm 4 not only did the "new genius position swap" get LeBrick in foul trouble, it got him fouled out when the Pacers prepared a game plan for him being in the paint

I was in stitches the last 5 min or so of it

I really think the Spurs are on cruise control right now they have matchup advantages with either team

ETA: edited top sentence meant Pacers I really am tired

Man, I know that must've been something on SSR.

I was too damn hurt after the t.u. game to visit TexAgs. I really had a hard time handling that L. Guess I'm still not mature enough to keep my emotions out of my sports life

The LeBron fanboys were losing their shite the end of last game on the MSB and it was fricking hilarious I think I enjoyed that more than the Pacers actually winning the game, tbh.

Miami's the tougher matchup, but SA will go toe to toe with either team, I think. Don't know if we'll win, but we'll go down swinging!

it was a lot easier for me considering i didnt grow up with the rivalry or anything. now if it was the last time UCLA and U$C played...damn

funny thing about lakersground is that it is the laker version of texags. SSR posters and laker posters on realgm will always try to distance themselves from it, like all aggie posters do here, but EVERYONE has an account and says they at least visit from time to time
