Yes. I get bored out here in my spaceship. I find myself doing very strange things.
I asked The Minister to include tampons in my supplies because I could use them to absorb loose liquids.
However, I've used almost all of them to insert into my V or A

On a side note...
What do you think about the new car designs?
I think they are very sharp

LOVE the new cars. Those Chevy SS's are sexy
For real though I couldn't be happier with the redesign, especially after the abominations that were the "Car of Tomorrow" a few years ago

Agreed!! every fricking car was the same minus the brand logo.. so disappointed in them.. Now they each have their respective brand designs again...

It's great for the sport and great as a fan. I love that a Ford Fusion LOOKS like a Ford Fusion on the racetrack now, as opposed to every car being a cookie cutter with different stickers on 'em, you know? Going back to them looking like "stock" cars again, which are the roots of the sport.
Can't wait for the green flag to drop on Sunday

Now if we can just get them to remove the restrictor plates....

I'd start watching regularly if they did this

I'm still kinda on the fence. Hate the restrictor plates on principle, but the racing it's produced over the years at Daytona and Talladega for the most part has been exceptional (with the exception of a couple of years).
There are other ways to produce dramatic racing than plates, though, so hopefully they'll go the way of the dinosaur eventually just like the CoT.

I only watch the big races. But smoke is my favorite driver.

It's good for the car manufacturers for the cars to resemble what you see on the dealer lots. It creates another layer of loyalty of sorts.
As a marketing/sponsorship guy I've always pointed to the phenomenon that was nascar when drivers had the same sponsors for basically their entire careers. Users of those brands would gravitate to a driver subconsciously because of the color and logos sported on the car. If you were a chevy guy your drivers were likely to run chevy, same with Ford and Dodge.
All of that combined is just more fodder for the fans to have their pissing matches in the stands and in the camps before the races which increase comraderie and emotional investment in the sport.
btw, I usually don't come in the IM threads but this one has been gold.

Used to hate him, too. Guess I've gotten soft
But for real, Tony Stewart can wheel a car. Glad he's doing well as a driver/owner.

My Dad loves him some NASCAR. I think everytime I see him anymore he's watching the SPEED channel.
It's a shame it's such a clusterfrick for fans when Kentucky Speedway hosts or he'd probably go more often.

This.
I was a marketing major at A&M, so that's always interested me about NASCAR as well. STP, Goodwrench, and DuPont will ALWAYS be associated with Petty, The Intimidator, and Gordon in the minds of fans (even though Gordon's unfortunately losing the DuPont name after a 20 year run
Gordon's always been my favorite driver, and sure enough, I own a Chevy

Isn't NASCAR still looking to put a Sprint Cup race at Kentucky on the schedule? Or did the clusterfrick last time scare them off? Hadn't heard much about that since then, tbh.

I think they're still going to have another. The last time wasn't quite as bad in terms of getting into the Speedway but it was a hot mess inside the track.
