I don't understand why a drug that is probably less harmful than alcohol isn't already legal. I suppose a group old dudes somehow got rich off keeping it out of our states.

Thank your helpful friends at Amheuser Busch and their strangle hold on the beer market. As long as they're 90% of the market, they're going to pay the money to make sure they have no competition anywhere or from anyone.

Same for Alabama unfortunately

Funny thing about Kentucky is 60% of the marijuana grow in America comes out of Kentucky.

I've been called a fascist bigot for supporting individual state rights before.

Idk about that. The statement from the police chief in Tuscaloosa the other day about the bust was kinda cryptic. Sounded like he was saying: I know that harmless, but it's illegal and we still have to enforce the law. My hands are tied.

Also I was dating this girl that had an internship with TPD and she told me most of the officers would like to have it legalized because in their eyes alcohol was more of a problem and weed does have a lot of violence attached to it.

Absolutely. The state would make an obscene amount of money off of marijuana if it was decriminalized and legalized. Especially when you consider the significant reduction of tobacco crop due to settlements and etc.

You understimate my state's love for the sticky icky.

Honestly, the weather here is just about perfect for it.

It is. That just shows you how much dope is grown in the US. When prohibition ended a lot of the moonshiners had no more income, so they turned to the next best thing.

Hey, they've been slipping every year for quite a few years now - 3% last year. Baby steps. People are starting to realize they don't want to drink that swill anymore.

I know what you mean. I won't drink anything from them unless someone has a keg, or it's the cheapest thing at a bar and I'm low on money. Other than that, it's either Yuengling or The Banquet. Throw some Stella or Delirium in there every once in a while.

How the frick do you actually believe this? California's marijuana production is more than quadruple Kentucky's. If you know anything about math, you would realize that Kentucky probably represents something closer to 10-12%.
