what about saints-vikings a few years ago?

frick that game with a cactus.

that hurt worse to me cause it was a walk off on a missed fricking tackle.

2011 SF playoff game. We steamroll the Giants and Patriots to with the Bowl.

That game truly crushed me

Yep this was mine. Minny and rams are the most brutal playoff losses ever

That Brees/Payton first year together losing in the NFC Championship to the Bears who got beat in the Superbowl.

I just hated the fact we kinda gave up and gave up 3 tds in the 4th quarter.

I hated all the analysts saying we were just a done team who couldn't win outside.

Saints vs 49ers 2011 easy

We dog frick the Giants the next week and then the Patriots in the SB. No guarantee we beat the Pats in 2018 with how up and down we were playing. We were absolutely clobbering people before that 49ers game. shite take away three of the 5 turnovers we had that game and I think we beat them by double digits

We were slowing down pretty heavily in 2018 that made me nervous. I was actually more nervous during the 2017/2018 playoffs than the brief stint in 2019. We barely scraped out that Eagles game which didn’t give me a whole lot of confidence going into the NFCCG and even if that outcome is different, I have no faith we would have played any better against a better coach, a better QB and a better defense the next week.

You mean in 2017 when they were the 1 seed? I was talking 2018 against the Rams/No Call. Minnesota Miracle was really tough but not as bad as 2018 and 2011. We were reallllllyyyyyy banged up in 2017. We probably would have been embarrassed just like the Vikes

2018 Saints Rams not close. I want my full interest in football back. This took it away.

No call game and its not even close. Feel like we had the best chance to win it all unlike the 2017 and 2019 year

I’m glad everyone agrees with the correct answer. 2011 was the best saints team of all time

i wouldn't say so.

that defense was so meh.

the '09 defense came up so much more than that 2011 unit.

it wasn't even funny.

the 2009 offense spread the ball out more.

and the offense dug a huge hole for us in that SF with all the turnovers starting out.

then the defense caved at the end.

The Saints weren't championship worthy that year.

Sorry.
